Odisha Modern Art Gallery
This Gallery has also received “The Certificate of Registration Trust Act " with the Registration No. 1041. It is the first of its kind and a contemporary Fine Art Gallery in the State of Odisha which offers a sumptuous collection of contemporary art and crafts from Odisha for the betterment of their artistic status. The Odisha Modern Art Gallery also provides the regular exhibition of contemporary works of several renowned artists from Odisha, which inspires the consciousness of not only the artists, artisans but also of the numerous art lovers, visitors and buyers. After looking at the eight years of its operation its can be said that the response to this Gallery is extremely positive and its contribution towards the art, artists, artisans and tourists is accountable and noteworthy. The concept of the Gallery is to promote and distribute a permanent exhibition of contemporary art works with a collection of more than 800 pieces that remains open for seven days a week.In addition to the high quality-exhibition it provides the necessary and correct kind of space, suitable lighting for special exhibitions by individual artists or groups and organizations etc. What makes the Gallery different from other activities that the provision of marketing and an active support for promotion of art, artists and artisans within Odisha, India and also abroad. This is a platform to the Odishan artists to showcase their works.
Since its inauguration, more than 50,000 visitors have visited the gallery and the Gallery has sold more than 800 works which is an indirect earning for the artists. The Art works of more than 250 artists have been promoted by the gallery. More than 90 artists have become able to enhance their income through this gallery.

Lalit Kala Akademy
The Lalit Kala Akademi (National Academy of Art) is was set up by the Govt. of India under the administrative control of the Ministry of Culture, for the promotion of Fine Arts (Painting, Sculpture, Drawing, Ceramic, Graphic and other Contemporary Plastic Arts forms, like Installation, Digital and Media Arts and Photography) in the country.The foundation stone of the Lalit Kala Akademi, Regional Centre, Bhubaneswar, was laid of by Shri J.B. Pattnaik, the then Chief Minister of Odisha, on 25th January, 1984, in the presence of Shri K.K Hebbar, the then Chairman, Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi. This Centre was inaugurated by ShriJ.B. Pattnaik, then Chief Minister of Odisha on 12th May, 1988.The first Regional Secretary of this Centre was Shri Bipin Bihari Sahu. The Centre is certainly located from the railway station (one Km. away) and is seven Km. from the Biju Patnaik Airport.
